Capture exactly what you want to share

Choose 15, 30 or 60 FPS and a quality level to balance motion, file size and processing load. Actual performance depends on your hardware, resolution and recorded content.

Your PC audio and voice, independently controlled

Capture sound from videos, applications and presentations; add spoken explanations through your microphone; or combine both in one recording. Turn both sources off when you need silent video.

• Separate device selection: choose the system playback device and microphone that fit your setup.
• Independent volume sliders: adjust each source from 0–100%, even while recording. Set a source to 0% to mute it without changing Windows device volume.
• Two audio level meters: check PC audio and microphone signals separately before and during recording, including levels approaching overload.
• Test your microphone first: capture a sample of about 3 seconds, then hear it through the selected playback device. Check your voice and volume before recording; samples stay in memory.

With both sources enabled, CYAN CAM mixes PC audio and your microphone into one audio track in the video. Headphones help keep speaker audio out of your microphone.

Microphone processing for clearer, steadier narration

Noise reduction that suits your environment

Enable Microphone noise reduction to reduce steady background sound such as fan noise or hiss. Adjust the strength from 0–100% and test your voice to balance noise reduction with a natural sound. Strong filtering can affect voice quality.

Automatic microphone volume

Moving closer to and farther from your microphone? Enable Auto microphone volume to raise quiet speech, lower loud speech and limit excessive peaks. Keep narration more consistent as your speaking level changes.

Both features have on/off controls, work in recordings and microphone test samples, support changes during capture, and remember your preferences. Processing happens locally and affects only your microphone; PC audio stays unchanged. If the input signal already clips at the device, reduce the microphone's device input gain.

Stay in control without interrupting your workflow

Shortcuts also work with the app minimized when Windows registers them successfully. A timer and capture indicator show recording and pause states. Pausing stops both video and audio capture; recorded segments are joined into one MP4 when you finish, excluding the waiting time.

Your recordings, in your folders

Choose a local folder and filename prefix. CYAN CAM adds the date and time and resolves duplicate names automatically, helping organize recordings without overwriting previous videos. MP4 with H.264 video and AAC audio is convenient for playback, editing in another application and sharing.

The app does not automatically upload recordings. Videos are saved locally on your PC. CYAN PRO handles sign-in, access checks and update information.

Ready for everyday work

• Complete Windows installer: includes .NET Runtime, audio libraries, FFmpeg, FFprobe, shortcuts and an uninstaller.
• Convenient sign-in: use your CYAN PRO account to enter the recording workspace, including on the free plan. Sessions are remembered and refreshed while valid; passwords are never stored, and session tokens are encrypted with Windows DPAPI.
• English and Vietnamese: switch instantly in Settings → Language, with your choice remembered next time.
• In-app updates: receive version information and download links through CYAN PRO. Package integrity is checked before installation; release files are hosted on GitHub.

From an idea to your first recording in a few steps

1. Install CYAN CAM and sign in with your CYAN PRO account.
2. Choose a display, region or window and your save folder.
3. Select audio sources and test your microphone. Enable voice processing when needed.
4. Click record or press F9. Pause with F8 and save your MP4 with F10.
